The word klucze boards translates into “kluczes” in English, and the cookies are aptly named after their unique targeting on the piano, adding a little whim to these sweet pleasures.
The taste of “kluczes” is a harmonious mix of butter wealth and subtle sweetness of a layer without. The gentle crunch of cookies disappears the place to melt in the mouth, creating a symphony of flavors dancing on the palate. It is not surprising that these cookies are the basis during Christmas opportunities and family meetings in which they are divided and enjoyed with joy.
The recipe was prepared by my high school friend Magda Kasjaniuk, who supports the next cookbook about traditional Polish desserts.

klucze instructions
Beat butter and sugar until they are fluffy. Add flour and salt and keep beating until they combine. Then add vanilla extract and egg yolks and mix until combined. You should be able to form a ball of dough, wrap it in a plastic foil and in the fridge for 40 minutes.
After preparing, pull out the dough and spread it to an even rectangle about 1/3 inch / 1 centimeter. Place back in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Just before the passage of 30 minutes, make the glaze, whipping egg proteins with powdered sugar until stiff. Remove the cool dough, transfer egg protein/sugar glaze to a cold dough and smooth it evenly. Cool for another 30 minutes.
Heat the oven to 360 ℉/ 180 ℃ and prepare a cookie sheet, lining it with parchment paper.
After cooking for baking, cut the dough into long, rectangular cookies. Place each cake on parchment paper and bake for about 13-15 minutes until it is slightly golden brown.
