Delicious, crispy and fragrant cocoa waffles with cinnamon. Just mix all the ingredients and you’re done. It can’t get any simpler than that 😉
The recipe is very universal. You can omit cocoa and cinnamon. You will then get classic, light waffles.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 25 minutes
Number of servings: 6
Ingredients for Cocoa Waffles
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 2 spoons of baking powder
- a heaped spoon of cocoa
- a flat teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 cups of milk
- 3 small eggs
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
This recipe makes 12 waffles.
My glass has a capacity of 250 ml.
Waffle additions:
- powdered sugar, jam, e.g. blackberry jam, fresh fruit, chocolate ganache cream, whipped cream, coconut cream
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix for a few minutes until the dough becomes smooth. Set them aside for 40-60 minutes to rest and the temperature of the mixture to equalize. The waffles will then rise beautifully.
- After this time, you can plug in the waffle maker to heat up.
- Put portions of dough into the preheated waffle iron and bake for a few minutes (the baking time depends on the power of your waffle iron). After removing the waffles from the waffle iron, place them on a rack to cool down. If you place them on a plate or countertop, they will start to steam from underneath and become soft.
Enjoy your meal.
